Somewhere between Crucial Dudes and Lifetime the youngins from Bad Planning found a place in my heart. This Chicagoland four-piece crank out 8 tracks of melodic hardcore and pop-punk that feels years beyond their age, but altogether sincere and energetic. Super posi and a lot of fun, sometime that's been lost in the Soundcloud era of super immediate music and YouTube music super stars. For real, I just watched Awkwafina's My Vag video for the first time last week. I'm fucking old and out of touch, but as long as bands like Bad Planning keep bands like Lifetime on a pedestal there's hope for me.
